What Atlas is

Atlas is a personal organization and study tool for college students: classes, assignments, a calendar, study timers, notes, GPA math, money tracking, campus features and an AI assistant. It is a helper, not a school system of record.

Your account

You need an account, and you're responsible for what happens under it. Keep your sign-in secure, give accurate information, and don't share your account with someone else. One person per account.

Not advice, and not always right

GPA projections, degree progress, deadlines pulled from a syllabus or an email, study plans, essay feedback and money summaries are all estimates produced from what you entered and what the AI inferred. AI output can be wrong or incomplete.

Always verify grades, deadlines, exam times, degree requirements and financial numbers against your school's official systems and your advisor. Atlas is not academic advising, legal advice, financial advice, or medical or mental-health care. If you are in crisis, contact your campus counseling center or local emergency services.

Academic integrity

The essay coach and AI assistant are for learning, planning and feedback. Don't submit AI output as your own work where your school forbids it. You are responsible for following your institution's academic integrity policy.

Acceptable use

  • Don't upload content you don't have the right to use.
  • Don't harass, impersonate, spam or endanger other students through the classmate network, study rooms or marketplace.
  • Don't list anything illegal, or anything your school prohibits, in the campus marketplace. Marketplace listings are between students; Atlas is not a party to those deals and does not handle payment or verify items.
  • Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer Atlas, or access another student's data.

Your content

Your notes, uploads and entries stay yours. You grant Atlas permission to store and process them only to provide the features you're using — for example generating a summary, flashcards or a quiz from a file you uploaded.

Connected Google accounts

Connecting Google Calendar or Gmail is optional and read-only, and you can disconnect at any time. What Atlas reads and how it's handled is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Availability and changes

Atlas is offered as-is, without warranty of any kind. Features may change and the service may be unavailable at times. Keep your own backup of anything you can't afford to lose.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Atlas and its developer are not liable for missed deadlines, grade outcomes, lost data, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Ending your use

You may stop using Atlas and request account deletion at any time. Accounts that abuse other students or break these terms may be suspended or removed.
